More than thirty years experience in metallurgy and pressing
Establishment
In 1982 Roland Pfarr established PFARR Stanztechnik in Gelnhausen, west of Frankfurt, to manufacture punched preforms. His entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with a profound understanding of metallurgy and manufacturing, enabled him to lead and guide the company as founder and Managing Director until 2007; laying the foundations for our continued growth and success.
Specialisation
Specialisation in build components for electronics and microelectronics saw rapid production growth during the 1990’s. Building a second factory became imperative, and in 1998 the company opened the doors of the plant in Buttlar, Thuringia.
Growth
Business success provided the family concern with continuous growth and the creation of numerous new job opportunities. The responsibility of being a key employer in the Wartburg region is close to our hearts and we relish the opportunity to strengthen the economics of our area.
